Chapter 7

After an amazing breakfast at the diner, I decided to bring Kennedy to my favorite place, on the outskirts of town.

“Where are we going?” she asked, as I turned my car off of the main road, and down a side street.

“You’ll see.”

She tipped her sunglasses down at me, revealing those beautiful brown eyes of hers. “But I want to know now,” she whined like a child.

I chuckled at her attempt to get me to talk. “You never did like surprises.”

“Nope. Which is why you should tell me.”

“Nope. Even more reason not to.”

“You’re evil.”

“And you love it.”

“Yeah, sure.” She rolled her eyes, and sunk back into the chair, reaching over, and resting her hand on mine.

I squeezed her fingers and then brought her hand to my mouth, pressing a kiss to her knuckles before returning it to the shifter.

The road turned to dirt as we passed an abandoned house, and I drove as far down as I could before pulling over. Kennedy eyed me curiously before jumping out of the car and looking around.

“What is this?” she asked, as I met her on the other side.

“You’ll see.” I took her hand, and guided her down the dirt road into the woods.

“You’re not going to kill me and bury my body in here?” she joked.

I smiled. “Nah. You’re too pretty to cut up.”

“That’s sick.”

“You started it,” I defended. “Come here.” I pulled her over to me, and covered her eyes with my hand.

“You sure you’re not going to kill me?”

“If you don’t stop talking, I might.” I tickled her sides, and she wiggled into my crotch, making me go rock hard. With my free hand, I grabbed her hips, and pulled her ass against my bulge. “You see what you do to me?”

“Mmm,” she groaned, reaching behind her, and cupping my dick. She rubbed up and down then gave it a squeeze. “Please tell me where we’re going involves this.”

I hadn’t thought about it before. I just wanted to show her this place I discovered one day when I went exploring out of boredom. But, now, with her hand on my dick, I was beginning to rethink my plan.

I leaned down, pressing my lips to her ears. “It very well could,” I whispered.

Goosebumps prickled her skin, and I trailed my tongue down her neck, following their path. A moan rumbled up her throat, and I wanted to take her right there on the ground, but not until I showed her what I came here for.

“But not yet,” I said, and urged her forward.

“Is that water I hear?” she asked, and I tickled her side.

“You are so impatient.”

“I’d call it observant.”

“Of course you would.” When there was a clearing in the woods, I turned left, and brushed my lips against her ear. “Open,” I said and dropped my hand.

She gasped as she took in the abandoned garden. A small wooden walking bridge crossed over a brook, and gave way to a field of wildflowers. It looked as though someone spent a lot of time back here, making it the perfect getaway, but hadn’t been back in years.
